Sarah Bedell (she/her) is a graduate student at the University of Chicago Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice on the clinical social work track. Prior to her graduate studies, Sarah earned a BA in Psychology at Boston University.
Sarah’s therapeutic style is client-centered, trauma-informed, non-judgemental, and collaborative. She has experience working with individuals of diverse identities and backgrounds.
Sarah approaches the therapeutic space with a sense of curiosity and affirmation. Her work is informed by a deep understanding of trauma and its effects. Her client-centered philosophy ensures that every individual’s unique journey is honored and respected, while her collaborative nature encourages open dialogue and shared progress.
She has a particular passion for working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families. Sarah believes that, at its core, therapy is centered around a client’s intersectional identities and that the path to healing looks different for everyone.
